The Fall Winter 2026 Runway Show

Max Mara's muse is Matilde di Canossa - the most powerful woman of her age who ruled from her castles above Max Mara's hometown. The visionary leader  is a fitting role model since, from its inception, Max Mara has been a rallying point for women on the rise. Max Mara reimagines the modern woman as Matilde: the unflappable, fearless, and victorious Queen, not of the battlefield, but the boardroom. 

Look from the show

Singular pieces including a hip hugging gored maxi skirt, a page boy tunic styled with a flat mid-thigh boot and  a coat with a nubuck shoulder patch are crafted in Max Mara's precious and iconic fabrics:  camels, cashmeres, alpacas, mohairs, fine wools and lustrous double-faces.
